Maaya asks Anupama the easy question, “Why didn’t she meet her child when she was right in front of her?” She cites poverty as the reason. She says that she didn’t have enough money to buy food, and that she would walk for miles to purchase gifts for her daughter. She tells of the hardship she went through because she was poor. Even after being able to touch her daughter several times, she could not even touch her. She describes her struggle with the fate that led to her success. Toshu’s jokergiri begins at Shah house. On Little Anu’s birthday present, he fixes his business card and boasts about how he will be the city’s top caterer. Vanraj questions why he fixed so many cards for the gift. Maaya will see the other card if one is lost. Kinjal believes he should fix only one card, and not all 15. Hasmukh has brought a silver anklet to Little Anu. Leela asks Hasmukh why he bought that. She is giving 1001 rupees instead. Hasmukh questions Leela about why she would like to go there. Toshu said to insult Anupama. Leela says Anupama continues and her nokjhok goes on. Kinjal reminds her that she insults Anupama, and Anupama listens silently to her. Hasmukh cautions that she cannot attend a party if she does not behave with Anupama. Anupama Written Update
Maaya continues to tell her story. She says that she worked hard to make herself independent to care for her daughter. After she was discharged from hospital, Maaya learned that her daughter is being sheltered by someone. Anupama questions Maaya about her husband. Maaya states that she doesn’t know anyone except Little Anu. She also knows what Anupama wants and will not talk about it. Anupama asks her if she can take her shopping with her. Ankush is told by Barkha that Anupama is making cake with Maaya, and is being too friendly with her. Ankush asks Barkha if he has any more information. Ankush said he found solid evidence against Maaya, and that he will be throwing the trump card tomorrow. Kavya talks to her London friend, and she says that she will definitely meet up as she will be there for 10 days. Leela is shocked to see that and informs Vanraj that they must stop Kavya going to London, just as they stopped Anupama going to North America.
Little Anu is happy to see 2 cakes and 2 dresses left by her mothers. She asks Maaya who will decorate the house. Maaya promises she will. Little Anu is more happy and returns to her bedroom. Anupama questions Maaya about why she claimed she would do decoration, when they both agreed that they will take care of everything together. Maaya claims that her event management company will handle decoration. Anupama and Maaya can both supervise. Why should they do so much work when they can get paid for their services? Ankush taunts her by claiming that she knows all the paid services available. Maaya hits back, claiming that even distant relatives can get closer to money. Anupama asks her to sleep with her daughter tonight. She knows Anuj won’t agree, but she doesn’t want to hide anything. Ankush giggles. Maaya claims she would like to gift all of her collected gifts to her daughter tonight. Anuj allows her to do so, but she thinks she can’t tonight because she knows that she will have to expose herself tomorrow after the birthday party. Maaya wonders why Anuj agreed to this. Maaya treats Little Anu with affection and she cries. Little Anu wonders why she is crying. Maaya claims she feels guilty for abandoning her adorable little girl and describes how she missed her first word, first step and singing lullaby to her. Little Anu requests Maaya to stop crying. Maaya promises her that she will not leave her. Little Anu replies that mummy, papa and now Maaya all sound the same. She asks her if she will sing a lullaby to make her sleep. Maaya is happy. Little Anu claims that mummy said not to hate Maaya because she had left her for some reason. She sings a lullaby to Maaya and makes her sleep. Anuj, Anupama and their baby Anupama look at this and then return to their rooms. Little Anu sees them and walks towards them. They happy wish her a happy birthday. Maaya wishes her a happy birthday and finds her missing. She realizes that she must have gone with Anuj or Anupama and sings her a happy birthday song. She picks up the phone and looks anxious. Anuj believes that Little Anu’s birthday is tomorrow and that he will be taking action. Maaya informs Sushma, her friend, that she was able to meet her daughter thanks to her.
